29 February 2012 – Leap Day under the Milkwoods

Piet-se-Bos next to Grotto Beach in Hermanus, South Africa

S34°24.782 E19°17.274

We decided to celebrate Leap Day by finding our first multi-cache along a fairy trail under a spreading milkwood forest located right next to Grotto Beach – one of South Africa’s longest standing Blue Flag Beaches.

“The sunny slow lulling afternoon yawns and moons through
the dozy town. The sea lolls, laps and idles in, with
fishes sleeping in its lap.”

(Dylan Thomas, Under Milk Wood)
